After trying a really awful new restaurant for date night, we spent the rest of the weekend buying mulch, lifting mulch, spreading mulch, going back for more mulch and repeating the process three times, shopping a farmer's market, grocery store,cleaner, Starbucks, barbecuing, freezing, sunning, buying plants, planting,watering the plants, redecorating the backyard, visiting with a friend who stopped by, and taking lots and lots and lots of all of these. I woke up panicked that it was Sunday and we'd be doing it all over again, but, phew, it's Monday.
